So — after the flurry of the Children in Need 2011 Special (suspenders!) and the trailer for the Christmas Special, now Moffat hands us four mini-sodes on a silver platter. I know not everyone follows
doctorwho, so have links:
You might want to keep a handkerchief or two at hand.
Also, re: the Christmas special: FUCK YEAH, NARNIA. Oh boy, am I ever ready for this. I've been ready for this since I was seven years old.
"Where are we?"
"In a forest... in a box... in a sitting-room. What do they teach you in schools these days?"

Date: 2011-11-22 07:22 am (UTC)TARDIS dream team, right here. It's like they can't not be awesome. And oh man, can't wait for Christmas, NARNIA. Makes one wonder what book they'll do next year, if they stay with the pattern.
Baaawwww, River.

Date: 2011-11-23 08:14 am (UTC)But yes, they're perfect. They were perfect. I'm a little sad to let Amy and Rory go — they were easily my favourite couple in nu!Who — but I realize that we need a new companion, at least.
NARNIA. SO MUCH EXCITEMENT.

Date: 2011-11-23 06:49 pm (UTC)I'm trying to think of other classic Christmas books, just trying to guess what they'll do next year, and I'm a bit distressed that I can't actually think of anything. Ooh! How the Grinch Stole Christmas? That would be rather perfect for Doctor Who.
ASADGFDJKL I WANT A PRESENT THE SAME COLOR AS THE TARDIS THAT TAKES ME TO NARNIA.

Date: 2011-11-24 06:39 pm (UTC)Oh man, I was actually starting to get a little worried because there's been absolutely no advertising for Tintin that I've seen, then it turns out that the hotel my dad is staying at next time he goes out of town is holding a Tintin-themed sweepstakes. Grand prize is a family trip to Europe. "Should I stay here?" "ASDFHLKJKLDSA YES."

Date: 2011-11-24 07:27 pm (UTC)Ahaha, there's a lot of Tintin-related advertising here really — the supermarket I go to has this big game thing going on; plus the old 'collect such-and-such products, we'll give you miniatures of Tintin/Haddock/Milou/etc' kind of deal. My dad actually wants to collect 'em all. :D
