In other news, this post-Reichenbach!AU I'm trying to finish up has possibly three different timelines and seems to hinge entirely around photography. I'm becoming dreadfully confused. Can't quite count the number of times I've scraped the whole lot and then picked it up again, by now. I just want to tie it all up before S2 starts — after that the AU!dimension'll become more drastic than it already is, and I want to write a John-centric roadtrip after the third episode anyway.

(It doesn't help that TSN fandom hasn't quit being wonderful and I want to write approximately six hundred post-depositions stories.)

I'm glad you're enjoying uni! :D :D I'm... well. I'm enjoying it, but I'm a bit tired of it already. Like, why am I still here? Although I tend to get like that every year around the holidays, so that's probably normal.

UNI IS MAGNIFICENT. Bet you I'm not still saying this three months from now, but. Ahahahaha.

I'm still stuck on the Reichenbach!AU, tbh. I need to make myself actually write it, and it's nearly done, but — some scenes I'm unhappy with, and some scenes I'm really really happy with, and I don't think I can actually rewrite the entire thing even though it's not that long and ugh oh my god I'm stuck. It doesn't help that I'm tentatively writing TSN!fic. D: on that note: do watch the movie. do. then i can throw ideas at you and stop tearing my heart out. ♥♥♥

And oh I actually did watch part of that movie the other day! I need to actually find it and watch it from start to finish instead of shreds here and there. But. The subtext ahahahahaaaaaaa it's like every movie ever these days I mean look at Avengers and i need to shut up okay)

Aw, I hate that feeling! It pretty much happens to me all the time when writing fic, so I can fully empathize. And aaah, okay, okay, let's make a deal! I shall watch TSN and you shall watch XMFC and together we'll forget about uni and homework and immerse ourselves into fandom. (...actually, that's a pretty accurate description of our lives right now, isn't it?)

Yes yes please do because the subtext it is incredible and, actually, it's even better in real life, I think, ahahahaha, because James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender don't even try to hide it. Case in point: this, which, well, basically speaks for itself. (the entire interview is pretty fantastic, though :D)

THANKSGIVING BREAK THIS WEEK o/ although it's not going to be much of a break, I'm afraid. I've lots of Spanish assignments, a project, and a scholarship essay in which I'm supposed to write about why I want a scholarship. I mean, what? Because I want the money, damn it, isn't that good enough of a reason?

YES, OKAY, I'm going to go find TSN and watch it over the Christmas holidays. Although, hey, I just finished watching the first season of Downton Abbey so that should totally count towards my end of the deal. On that note: Mary! Matthew! Anna! Bates! Thanks! :D I'm... actually not a big fan of turkey, hahaha. I think mother is cooking a Cornish hen, or something. We do have weird turkey traditions. Just this morning apparently Obama pardoned two turkeys! I think it's a yearly thing. Not sure. I'm very out of the loop with these things. My British chem professor once called Thanksgiving the second stupidest American holiday - right after the Fourth of July, of course. Man, he was great.

Yeees, I sat around eating and eating and eating. Baked mint chocolate chip cookies, so that's pretty much all I'm running on right now, ahaha. Unhealthy eating habits ftw. (and yes, yes, he did! apparently it's something of an American tradition and quite a few presidents have done it, but this was the first time I caught it on TV.)
