That said, recording podfic is actually quite fun, all strange French accents and funny th's notwithstanding. I like it. Anything you'd like me to record, people?

I need to work out a writing chart; this is getting out of bounds. I have. Some. Fifteen? works, currently in progress, likely to remain in progress for as long as I don't get a move on and actually finish one. Ironically enough, the one closest to finishing is the one I begun the latest. My life, does it make sense. It doesn't, much. Fortunately, it's also Sherlock, which means I'm actually going to come close to finishing something in this fandom. Five months and as many stories left by the wayside will not be in vain, never mind that this one is some eight thousand words shorter than any its precedessors.

Less fortunately, I have a monster fruk!human!au in the works, as well. Someone give fireblazie a cookie or a hammer. (Eat the first; knock yourself over the head with the second, this is all your fault.) Yeah, also:

THIS. I WANT THIS. SO MUCH. I - I never knew I wanted this but oh I do. Also, if this place actually existed I'd spend my entire life there. I'd come in everyday and order tea and coffee and stare at the pretty, pretty boys and I've just revealed just how much of a life I don't have, haven't I. This was pretty much my reaction as well — and then while writing I couldn't help but go this is such a lovely idea, I can't throw it away so in the end I didn't. And doomed myself to endless FrUK!AUs, aha. Um. Yes. That said, Jaywalking has now reached the 10,000-words mark, jesus. I rather hope I'll be able to make it in time — I'll try to, but at any rate you guys are getting a longfic for the end of April. Whee. (Also, I would totally stay entire days at a place like that, much as I love my Starbucks café.)

(In Autumn, they say, though that can be anytime from September to Christmas. We already know which stories they'll be adapting, though, so that leads to some heavy speculation in the fandom. In the meantime, we've got DW to look forward to...)

That is fairly cool. :D my translation teacher was off-duty today — and we were supposed to have an exam, too. My afternoon has been made.

I love your FrUK!AUs, though! And I'm sure lots of people do, too, so no one will mind if you keep writing them. In fact, it would make a lot of people happy :D and a lot of grades go down, namely mine, but, whatever Ooh, 10,000 words! You're probably sick of hearing this, but I'm so excited for this. (You and me both, my dear, you and me both.)

My uni!fic is on hold for now, but I saw a prompt on the kink meme that really got the muse going, so, maybe? I've never posted anything on there before, though. I'm worried I'll mess up the coding or post in the entirely wrong place because I'm the sort of person that would do that

Oh, I hope you had a fantastic birthday! My friend and I went downtown to the Museum of Fine Arts because they were having a special exhibition of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art and it was lovely. All the pretty paintings by Monet and Renoir and Van Gogh and ahhhh. The gift shop had all sorts of things imported from France, too - lotions and soaps and a multitude of Eiffel Tower figurines, haha. Crazy expensive, though D:

Still trying to figure out my schedule for next semester. Le sigh. If I take French I'll have to be on campus Mon-Fri, but if I don't, I might get away with a Mon/Wed/Fri schedule. Argh. What to do, what to do...
