Good morning, 2011!

Well, okay, afternoon. Er. On January 5th. But still, we all survived another year and didn't blow up any planets, which is very nice indeed.

I spent New Year's Eve drinking cheap wine and eating cheese and watching Sherlock with my best friend, which brings the number of people I've gotten addicted to this show to exactly two. (Sa', my dear, I adore you, but get your arse in gear and watch the damn show.)

My family seems to have gotten the message, too, re: SH, because Christmas got me not only the complete novels and stories, but also the Private Life and the first season of the Granada series (first impressions: Jeremy Brett has the most incredible eyebrows ever, and Burke's Watson is absolutely adorable. Especially this — 'Shh, Watson! this is srs bsns, this man is clearly quite easily flustered, will you please stop laughing — oh, sod it. BWAHAHAHAH.')

And then there's the added wonder of turning a corner whilst trying to juggle a Starbucks latte and two bags and getting a faceful of SURPRISE CUMBERBATCH.

This is deeply disturbing, guys. Le nouveau détective du 21e siècle. Gnk.

i love how it's been like four months since i first watched this show and i still get ridiculously excited at the sight of them

Well, now I have proof for my cousin (who was snooping about on my livejournal and freaked that I had never met any of you people. Because, obviously, if I haven't met you, you're a 40 year old internet stalker guy, right?) that you really do live in France. :D

My parents are exactly the same, until I point out to them that if one of you lot was a 40 year old internet stalker guy, you'd have 1. pretended to live OH SO NEAR ME, and 2. made a move already. At this point they generally shut up.)

I am well, dear! well, as well as 'swamped by uni work' can be. Otherwise, well — completely and utterly addicted with Sherlock, as you can see. ;) How about you?

Yes, I'm SOO sure that you're a 40 yr old French guy. I've ALWAYS thought so, secretly. XD (I mention the same thing to him and he beginnings to babble because, as everyone knows, logic breaks teenagers. Strangely enough, my parents say stuff like "Cool." and tell me to extend invitations to all you should you ever be in the States. So, if you're ever near, you're more than welcome to stop by! lol)

That's good, minus the 'swamped by work' part. I'm swamped by college prparations, scholarship this, scholarship that, why can't they just give me the money without so much dang paperwork!? Yes, I've noticed that! But I can't find any of the episodes to watch (because I'm interested in what all the fuss is about) Know of anywhere online? I'm still hooked on Transformers though and, in my boredom, I sometimes flirt around to other fandoms. I've been reliving Inuyasha the past couple of days.

Yeaaaaah, I can imagine. College apps here are fairly complex too, and my having spent two years in a special class beforehand made everything even more complicated. As for Sherlock-watching: you can find the first and third episodes here; you should totally watch at least A Study In Pink, at least, and then try and find The Blind Banker somewhere before going onto The Great Game.

Yes, you always have. Especially with the way you squeal when fluff happens. (That reminds me, went to see what I'd missed in Conan out of curiosity and Ran and Shinichi had a big MOMENT in London while I was gone. WTF?) (Now my mother is going "We could go to France. When you get out of college you could even go yourself..." and I'm just like XD)

And they take forEVER to fill out. So boring....*dies* Alright, I'll check those out when I get a free moment (say, tomorrow? Because, guess what? SNOW DAY! In freaking ALABAMA! This is unreal!)

Also, is Sabrina supposed to go to Disney World over here this year or did I imagine that?
