Yeah, I love that he reacts in such a Sherlockian way to the situation, examining hearts and calculating how long he can survive without them and drawing anatomical diagrams of hearts. The best thing about this fic is that despite the cracky premise it's still so believable because Sherlock would keep hearts in jars, he just so would.
